So far only Red LED's can keep up somewhat with neon pumped glass.
Here's an interesting article that might be of some interest of anyone who is curious about the whole Neon vs. LED

P.S. If you have an outdated version of the Neon Manual, are there regular updates and if so how much is that? _________________ http://thesignsyndicate.com |

The Neon Installation Manual was a different product.
I cannot recall when it was made, but it was before our Neon Installation Guide.
Our guide was made in 2002 released by the NSSA - Northeast States Sign Association and sponsored by Gemini, Inc.
Our newer more detailed Technical Data Sheets are just coming out.
We were going to release it last year, but we decided to add LED installation diagrams to it.
Now it has both Neon and LED technical information.
I also have written a program: Sign Instructions Designer, that allows you to load these technical data sheets to possibly modify them if need be and print them. Also you can make back view wiring diagrams to comply with UL 48 Code.
I have literally just finished it enough for use, the form to order it is on the main webpage.
